Just wanted to let everyone know here that I relate to having trouble with keeping a job due to ADHD.  Until my recent job I rarely stayed in one position for more than 6 months to a year.  Thanks to meds and hard HARD work I have stayed in my present job for 7 years.  It hasn't always been easy - I struggle with boredom and self-destructive tendencies all the time.

Having a supportive family and a good med regimen helps a great deal.

Just wanted to say I've been there and understand what it's like.

Glen - Thanks and congratulations to you!  My longest stint was 2 years, maybe 3 (big maybe) but I can't really remember as I've had many jobs.  I am currently bored/stagnant in my job.  Hoping that they find something else to challenge me soon.  I can't afford to look for another job and in this economy??

My kids know about my ADHD and so does one sister.  She has been a wealth of support for me.  I have one friend at work who knows.  I'm very careful about revealing stuff.

Thanks for sharing.
