help with organizing (in general) | ADHD Information

The institution in which I have received help getting diagnosis for A.D.D. was wonderful. Michigan Department of Career Development and Michigan Rehabilitation Services are great avenues of sources if you are located in Michigan. I do believe that there are other departments that are similar in other states.  I have recently discovered that I too have been diagnosed with inattentive adhd and some other various problems with learning. Other things I find rather difficult is spelling, language, or communicating (verbally or written). Uhm, Dysphasia and asphsia, I think. I find it to be very difficult to organize, plan, and objectively measure the way I am doing stuff. This is putting a hamper on my writing for college purpose and other various things. Is there anyone out there that has some advice? What kind of suggestions would you make to help here?

Driven to Distraction really is a good book. I have it and its like really, really informative!driven to distraction is a awesome book.  also try Healing Add by Daniel Amen, it breaks down add into subtypes.  it was very informative.I am reading a book called "It's hard to make a difference when you cant find your keys" "7 step path to becoming truly organized" by Marilyn Paul, Phd.  seems like a great book so far.  My Dr. wants me to pick up "Driven to Distraction"  I hear its a great book too.  Good Luck
