getting rx from alternate dr - help? | ADHD Information

has anyone had this experience == my dr is out of town for three weeks,
and apparently didn't bother to leave me a scrip for adderrall, now i am
going out of town sunday w/no scrip, and i don't know any doctors where
i am going -- my dr's office said they would give whomever called them
the "Ok" to give me the meds -- but how would i find someone that
would prescribe them? any suggestions? Aren't there any other doctors at your doctor's office? Can't your doctor's office refer you to someone? Seems odd that they wouldn't have an established procedure for this - I'm sure it's not the first time your doctor has gone out of town.
