Why did the governments of Canada, Britain and Australia ban Adderall ?
Could there be something wrong with giving children SPEED based drugs? Read the ads in Ladies Home Journal... Concerta and Adderall are both Methamphetamine based.
Maybe that "rebound" at the end of the 8-9 hours is simply the beginnings of withdrawals from this highly addictive legalized Speed.
Our psychiatrist says that the XR is actually two doses, one released immediately, and one delayed for 4 hours. So when my daughter takes a 30mg Adderall XR, she gets 15 mg at 7am and another 15mg at about 11am. This eliminates the "coming down" from the first dose before the second one is released. Otherwise, there doesn't seem to be any difference between this and taking 2 smaller doses at 4-5 hour intervals. There is still the rebound at the end of the 8-9 hours, though! ^ Ignore that idiot.Actually it's VERY safe - there was 20 deaths recorded for adderall - and of those most were diagnosed with pre-existing heart defects, and many of those died during vigorous exercise.
Just do the research - and make up your own minds!
i read somewhere online that canada is actually bringing back adderall Adderall was back in Canada long ago. IT hit the market as soon as Canada reversed it's decision.and bugzappers - I went and read the health canada rating on adderal when they stopped allowing it temporarily. It was not a ban - but a stoppage on production of the canadian product. It was still deemed pending on usage - but actually owning it was not illegal and if you could find a cross-border sale of adderall - they allowed it (gray on it but they said ok).
One more straw man gone for da bad guys!
high five group!

I find that comment not only poorly researched but ultimately insulting and rude.
First of all, speed isn't capitalized. I may have ADD, but I still understand basic composition. Secondly, if you have ever even TALKED with someone who is taking the "legalized speed" you speak of, you would understand this better. The rebound off of my medication involves the same symptoms I show when I don't take my medicine at all, i.e. static thoughts, fidgeting, biting my nails ect. Not nauseau, irritability, tremors, or exhaustion exhibited by withdrawl from speed.
Do your research, please. Anyone who has ever done a basic presentation about speed for a health class (i.e. me) understand the difference. I would prefer it, and I'm sure many people agree, if you would keep your uninformed opinions to yourself. That, or learn how to use google.
mullaru38653.9385069444Adderall should already be back on the Canadian market. They reinstated the drug on, I believe, Friday, August 26. It was predicted that it may take 2-3 weeks to have it widely available, but it should be around by now.
They did change the label slightly.....they added a warning that I believe is on the US label as well. It has been found to be no more dangerous than the other medication therapies used for ADHD, which is why it was reinstated.

They should succeed - it's coming down now to how to bring it back. Most likely they'll be a black label listing order on it to warn of the potential heart troubles. Small small potential of heart troubles. We should see it soon - can't be soon enough as we need options for the kids and adults with ADHD.
Ah, balanced - meth based? Quit smoking the meth and you may read the ads clearer. Amphetemine is not METH amphetamine any more than you being a troll makes you an INTELLIGENT troll - notice the difference one word makes? No, of course not. Never mind.
Agreed, speed has bad withdrawls, and ime any dosage of the medicines i have taken, I can quit cold turkey and it not do anything. ( except i start eating again ) And if kids wanted real speed they could find it easily, but apparently they want to help themselves not screw themselves.
