Never tried ritalin - got lucky with dexedrine sulphate spansules.
I get both super focus (when I want - not that nasty hyperfocus like a stoner at a light show) AND extra boosts of incentive and energy.
Right away (starting with the 10mg twice a day) I felt energized like I never have before. I could work the whole 8 hour day, chat with friends after work online, clean my apartment, stroll around the park and at the end feel good and rested as I went to bed.
After a couple weeks every day on dexedrine, I tend to feel it begin to decline and my energy levels go down fast at the end. I now take a week or two if I can off every 2 months to reenergize the dexedrine. The manufacturer calls it a "drug vacation" - and it works for me but not all people it would seem from posts I've made.
It's good, and it's cheap. Might work for ya! It is different than adderal from what everyone says. Adderal's main dexedrine is dexedrine saccharate and would be metabolized differently.

Adderall works much better for me. Concerta (a methylphenidate product) made me tired but anxious. I would feel like sleeping but my jaw would be clenched and I would feel tension all over my body. I also had serious social anxiety, which is unusual for me... I'm generally an outgoing person. I find adderall to be a much cleaner drug. I still feel like myself. On methylphenidate, I felt like someone else... someone I didn't like very much. shakespeare38646.2467708333
