Withdrawl | ADHD Information

It is my experience and belief that no medication, especially antidepressants and stimulants should be stopped without weaning off them. There are withdrawal symptoms and I suspect his headaches are from removing him too fast from the medication.

When you have questions about a medication, I recommend you speak with your pharmacist...they are much more knowledgable than most doctors on details about medications and can usually answer your questions. Hi. Just took my son off of 3 years Ritalin and the last 3 years on Concerta. Dr. said no side effects from the removal of the med but I don't know. She wasn't really sure when answering my questions and he has been having bad migraine like headaches lately. Are there withdrawl symptoms? I would assume as he has been feeding his body a stimulant for the last 6 years and now is getting none. Any information anyone has is appreciated.
