I didn't feel anything until I hit 54mg. The feeling was feeling just awake, like you had a fresh rejuvenating night of sleep and no drowsiness where you need coffee.
A week later I was upped to 72mg since the 54mg effect was just light, being awake, but not necessarely attentive. It did the same thing in effect as 54mg and my doc didnt up it the next week because it was part of a research. At the beginning of the second week, I felt like the drug didnt act anymore.
Since the research was over, he upped me to 90mg, same effect as 54mg and 72mg when they worked, then it kicked out again, 108mg, started to not really gain anything... so we stopped and now I JUST started taking adderall.
It really depends on the subjects though, I got an insane metabolism and fast tolerance to drugs, so I adapted quicker than my doc could raise concerta, so adderall was required as it is a more powerful drug.
If you dont experience anything, dont panick, give it some time, I didnt notice the effects until a couple of days later at 54mg because I didnt realize my constance in energy was stable and not just temporary. Like, taking a look at your past couple of days and go ... wow, I did a lot lately.
And hey, if it doesnt work, you got the amphetamine group to try afterwards.
Side effects vary from people to people. Me, I only had a huge loss of appetite. I COULD eat, but I never really thought about it, so in 2 months, i lost 30lbs and it kept dropping until I stopped Concerta. During the week in between concerta and adderall, I gained back 10lbs :p
I also had a bit more insomnia (I already had intene insomnia anyways, so it's hard to tell if the drug actually caused something bad with that). I had no side head aches or stomach aches, though those are possible side effects. At 108mg, I started having trouble focusing my vision and I saw dots of lights from time t time.
I have 2 prescriptions of Concerta I received today for ADD. 34MG and 54 MG. Anyone here have experience with these drugs? My first dose will be tommorow so I need some feedback if anyone has any. Thanks.

I take 27mg once in the morning and really think that this med is working out good for me. Unlike a lot people on this board who have taken concerta or are on it, I have felt very lifted off of it, speeds me up a little but not like speed...just a small boost, and my appetite has all but completely vanished (I have to force myself to eat), but I have experienced no other side effects. I have had no problems whatsoever falling asleep, and it doesn't seem like I crash after the 12 hours (End of release period). I've been on it for about 6 weeks now and am going back to the doc in a few days, I think I may need a higher dose because I feel that it seems to be wearing off more quickly now, it works really great, I can focus really well, but it seems over the last few weeks the medicines effects wear off sooner and sooner and I find myself completely out of my mind, and figiting, and unable to think straight, but when it works it really works great for me.
