inside out clothes and collars in public | ADHD Information

I just rememberd that the other day I went down to the trash bin and saw a homeless person rooting around in there. It kind of scared me, so I told the maintenance person. I was standing there talking to him and his assistant, and then checked back with him after he went to check the situation out. When I got home, I happened to catch a look at myself in the mirror...

I had my t-shirt on inside out and backwards--the big, black tag was standing UP right underneath my chin. LOLOL.  I must have looked like a total dork! hee hee  Who should they be more afraid of, the trash digger or me?

(p.s. NO, I am not prejudiced against homeless people--he just seemed kind of scary.)

You know,

Its cute when a child does it, but when a Grown man goes to work with his jersey inside out, and others notice, its well embarrasing. Or the collar is caught and folded in, or some other embarrasing thing.

I wonder why is it I do this, you would thinK I would notice it. I am not unintellegent, or at least I think not. I also care about how I look, I just ummm forget to look. Oh I take my shower, brush me teeth and all that, but once that habbit stuff is done, the random checks during the day on appearence never occur to me, im to wrapped up in stuff to change my thought patterns to think, umm how do I look.

Anyone else ever went to work with an inside out shirt, or is this kind of a me thing?

(takes out big poofy stick and boops himself in the head chanting, what were you thinking, what were you thinking)

Sometimes its hard to love yourself when you do such silly things as forgetting to check your shirt before putting it on. hmmph :(

Dave2u4now38603.7368634259my manager has to tell me at least once a week to fix my collar (he's just trying to be helpful)... i can't wait for winter... i don't have to worry about that with sweaters. Sometimes total strangers will try to tuck my tag in the back of my shirt. It happens...a LOT.

AAARRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!!! YES!! Wow you must have worked with me! LOL

Two weeks ago I was in a rush to go to work.  I wear a uniform so I got my last clean one (back of chair - it's like a closet for me LOL) - and slipped it on and rushed out.

Got into work - clocked in on time and it's all good.

One of my fellow workers started to grin and stare.  Then he walked over and asked me if I was in a hurry that morning.  Turned out I work my workpants AND shirt inside out!! AAAUGH!! Easy to see when I looked down - drawstring out and tag flapping.  Mortified.

Ugh - hadn't done that in a while.
two socks not matching - and what?????

skirt a bit see-through pffpf! t-shirt with a small hole in the back - oh
yeah, didn't notice that.
Two shoes, not matching. Ha! I still can't find the matches. I think I grabbed someone else' shoe somewhere I'd taken mine off, but can't remember!

How about food stains on shirts? FAshion statement, CJ?

food stains - definitely the new black !!!

neat and matching is just sooo 20th century.... dahlink! ???chjones38605.7835300926

here's some colors, guess what caused them

Yellow

Red

Brown

All within the last 5 days. Two white shirts, and one light gray.

mustard, ketchup, chocolate ice creami wish i could think up some clever/funny reply to that.   there have to be
1000s of possibilities but my literal brain is literally that

so the moment i try to think about it - all i can think is mustard, ketchup,
gravy; mustard, ketchup, gravy.... soooo sad.

i'll try harder next time.

Mainenance probably thought that Mr. & Mrs. Digger had a spat...

On a serious note, I hate tags, so wear my tagless t-shirts inside out when I sleep in them, b/c even the embossing irritates. Occasionally I wear my shorts inside out in public, then deny I do it...yup, inside out an awful lot of the time. and you know what - i don't
care. it's fine by me! still keeps me warm right? besides i thought it was
meant to be good luck.

leave your handbag/keys behind and slam the self-locking door - pain in
the butt.

but clothes a bit haphazard - hey, its a fashion statement, why not?

Totally
I always in a hurry in the morning..... forget to eat, forget to look in the
mirror and pick up sometimes just something.... mismatching, insideout
and front to back.... but worst when I been doing something active like
building and making something and I look like been roling in paint or saw
and clay... ok sometimes I remember to dust myself down...... but I never
remember to look in the mirror always someone telling me I have
something in my face or I just walk red clay in my face like a indian paint
and am wondering why I am feeling feel like people looking at me in
suprised manner.

Well I much better after I was diagnosed and on meds but now I
understand why itīs so easy for other people to be "neat"

forgetting cellphone, keys and wallet is the worst and to be stranded
somewhere NEVER EVER CHANGE BAGS THERE IS ALWAYS SOMETHING
LEFT BEHIND THAT IS CRUCIAL but you never remember that
