Sons having a sleep over![]() ![]()
Nope they got up at 9:30, I made them stay in his room till 10:00 but I didn't get any more sleep LOL Jen The bright side he has a friend and they are after all kids. I remember sleepovers and being silly staying up late the normal kid stuff.OMG! Just a silly story, not related to ADHD kid sleeping over but get this 'drama'... before we moved one time (military) we let our now, 14 year old daughter and 15 year old daughter invite their friends over for a sleep over... I told them 5 EACH (right?)...32 girls showed up, ages 12-14!!! We bought 10...count them 10 pizza's along with 5 boxes of wings and bread sticks..needless to say we had to fix our own food because that was GONE as fast as it was brought in! That started an entire night of fighting, crying, about half 'wanting to go home' or screaming 'call my Mom'. After numerous phone calls and no Parent coming to pick their child up we ended up all night long dealing with these kids...wishing we had riot gear to control it, thank God hubby was a hostiage negoitator because our house might have been under seige.....LOL. NEVER AGAIN will I let my kids invite their friends over unless it's ONE each! By the next morning I was ADHD.....and every mental disorder you can name..... Parents didn't show up on time to pick their kids up, my house was completely trashed, and my own kids were trying to lock themselves in their rooms......LOL. Please give me your 2 ADHD kids for one night, I'll take that anyday...I learned my lesson with my experiance, but it was only because it was out of control. I hope the kids had a blast last night Have a great day! You done good ![]() ![]()
Oh lord help me!!!! It's 3:47 a.m. and my son and his friend (who btw is ADHD too) are just now going to lay down!!!!!! This is my sons first friend from school to sleep over and boy has it been an experience. I just pray they don't wake up the baby!!! Poor hubby has to work tomorrow and I can't believe he's slept through this!! Just had to go get serious with them, I could hear them giggling all the way in here. I just hope they sleep late!!!! GBU Jen lucky for you that the other kid
is adhd!! dd has sleepovers and the poor kids want to sleep and
she doesn't let them - i get calls from their grumpy parents the next
day!! at least your son is still using the words 'i don't know'.. dd has resorted to eye language!! enjoy jen, the first of many sleepless nights ![]() and you won't have one getting up at 6 am wanting you to either take him home or entertain him until your son gets up! Now lets hope the baby sleeps late! LOL yeah never thought of it that way, at least the other kid can keep up LOL Thanks Jen |
