Adderall XR & Waking UpHere's one for you - when do you get into bed? Do you give yourself enough time to wind down after the meds are wearing off? You need to give yourself - forced is what I have to - to become tired and get the adequate sleep to be awake in the morning. I find that where pre-meds I needed 7 hours to get to sleep, sleep and wake up it's now 9 hours minimum. I have to cut my coffee 2 hours earlier, and make sure my activities are low energy and sleep enabling. Where I would watch TV to get to sleep , now I switch it to something boring like the weather channel or public broadcasting and let it bore me into sleepiness. I've been able to avoid sleeping in the majority of time - but the wish to be active more tends to make me think I can do it. I have to remember every day that the extra time isn't an option. I wish to not need sleeping pills and that helps too - I want to do it as naturally as possible. Hard to do on shift work but so far so good and it's been over 10 months now. Good luck to you - and do let me know if you are making that extra time for yourself!
-Glen Question my friends,I take 30mg Adderall XR on a daily basis as well as 0.5 Klonopin twice a day. I just can't get my damned ass out of bed! Seriously, THREE alarm clocks and TWO cellphones.. and i do NOT wake up.. Is this common for those who take Adderall XR or am i suffering from 'chronic refuse to wake up syndrom' or something? Thanks, Hemmie |
