Adderall and Magnesium | ADHD Information

Magnesium is actually something that is closely related to ADD/ADHD apparently. Studies showed that the majority of ADD/ADHD kids had very large deficits of magnesium!

I take 200mg of Magnesium Citrate per day personally (50% daily value). However, do NOT use any other 'types' of Magnesium, Magnesium Sulfate, Magnesium Chloride, etc actually interact with Adderall XR in a bad way according to studies.

Hemmie, thanks for your anwser. Not only have I read that it's great for ADHD, but for other things such as heart disease, and diabetes, which runs in my family.

was there something noticeable  that changed when you had taken it for a while. as in the way white spots on nails will sometimes disappear when you take zinc?

I did not see this posted, and if it already is sorry. Is magnesium safe to take with adderall xr. I have read some great things about it and would like to try it along with my med.  I called my dr. this morning and they told me to call the pharmacy, and I have not had a chance to do that yet. Does anyone here know??? What stinks about most things in conjuction with any med, you almost need a degree in chemistry to figure some things out. This is for any med, and any alternative.
