glyconutrients & ADDHere is something that is not drugs!! It's what our cells need for our immnue systems to work right! Let me know what you think.
Specific Improvements Documented:
“Within two weeks my staff and I started to notice results. It was a miracle. The children retained information, they began to focus. The school’s test scores went from being among the lowest to the highest in the state of Texas.” Testimonies Behavior in School Sibling Relations Trouble waking up in the morning? A Letter to Steve Plog Shortly after taking the products I noticed a complete change in my behavior and my teachers did as well. I had more energy and I could finally do my work. I past some of my test and did pretty well. After I started to do better I looked at my nieces and nephews and I thought, "Maybe they could do better also." I started giving them some and they started doing great, but they had a little to much energy so I thought maybe if I gave them less that they’d calm down. They did but only a little bit. Well, I graduated and I'm a junior, I attend Chicago State University Upward Bound and I'm taking CNA classes. I'm also a poet that is starting to publish a book. I plan on attending The Results Program Works !! The Products have changed my life !
I was even taking notes, which was something I was never able to do before. I was also focused and interested in what I was doing. I have made lots of friends and have two close friends. I am having fun again and staying out of trouble. I belong to a dance class and also a Bible study group. "That's ok, Mom. I can do it without you." Today, I can't remember when she was last sick. Her reading took off ..
I upped her Bears to 4 or more a day if she wanted them as a snack and made sure she got ¼ tsp of the other Products. Within a WEEK the eye tick was GONE! Then during the next month or so her reading took off (now she loves to sit and read Chapter books or whatever)...overall her FOCUS improved as well (stated by her soccer coach and other parents). Because of it being something you can purchase I don't want to do anything against the posting agreement. You can email me at coopring05@aol.com and I will give you more info on it. Thanks, Brenda Cooper
Is it a combination of things? Can you give us more info on what they are? You don't need to give a brand name or anything but I would like to know a little more about them. You may end up getting a ton of mail from us all here! A glyconutrient, in technical terms, is a monosaccharide. These monosaccharides, or glyconutrients, are used to create glycoforms. Glycoforms cover the outside of virtually every cell in your body and are used by cells to communicate. Using glycoforms made up of glyconutrients, cells communicate with disease fighting cells of the immune system and identify themselves as healthy, friendly cells. If a cell cannot clearly identify itself as health, the immune system will attack the cell, healthy or not. Because glyconutrients are not readily available through your diet, many of your cells cannot communicate clearly. Your immune system begins to attack and kill your healthy cells. These attacks manifest themselves as auto-immune diseases such as MS, Arthritis,Asthma and Fibromyalgia. There are 8 glyconutrients needed by the cells of your body. The 8 glyconutrients are: Mannose: Research suggests mannose also eases inflammation in rheumatiod arthritis. Also shown to lower blood sugar and triglyceride levels in diabetics. Galactose: Helps in wound healing and long term memory formation. Fucose: Guards against respiratory tract infections and inhibits allergic reactions. Research suggests the sugar is active against viruses including herpes and the AIDS virus. Fucose is abundant in breast milk. Xylose: An antibacterial and antifungal. May help prevent cancer of the digestive tract. Often used as a substitute for corn syrup and sucrose. Xylose does not cause dental cavities. Glucose: A potent, fast-energy source. Enhances memory and stimulates calcium absorption. Too much or too little glucose leads to problems. N-Acetylglucosamine: Glucosamine, a metabolic product of n-acetylglucosamine, helps repair cartilage, decreases pain and inflammation, and increses range of motion in osteoarthritis. N-acetylglucosamine plays a vital role in learning, and works against tumors and HIV. N-acetylneuraminic acid: This monosaccharide is abundant in breast milk, and important for brain development and learning. This saccharide has been shown to inhibit strains of influenza viruses more effectively than many prescription anti-virals. This monosaccharide influences blood coagulation and helps lower LDL (bad cholesterol) levels. N-acetylgalactosamine: Studies on this monosaccharide are limited. We do know that lower-than-normal levels of this monosaccharide have been found in heart disease patients. These 8 sugars (glyconutrients) are essential for the proper function of every individual cell in your body. Scores of illnesses have been linked to an lack of these glyconutrients. Increasing the intake of these 8 sugars through diet or supplementation has led to recovery and long term wellness for countless individuals. To maximize the strength of your immune system, prevent disease and maintain excellent health, get glyconutrients back into your diet. I have a great DVD that I am willing to share with ;anyone who would like it. Just let me know. Brenda Scientific validation -

Yup - you're oldtimer for sure! LOL!! Don't discount sports in school. The whole western population is morbidly obese in higher numbers than ever before. Sports helps with fitness - not to mention teaching teamwork, sharing and trying to succeed in all ways. To just work on the brain without working on the body is a terrible disservice to the children.
You know you guys can be so harsh!!! I really wanted to know if anyone had first hand experience with glyconutrients. I did not mean to start something.
I feel that it's very useful that you did start something. And, in the future, I will continue to be harsh and in fact, may dial it up a notch. Folks out there are seeking solutions and need to know what is opinion versus fact versus lies -- and HaitiHelper clearly and intentionally misrepresented research and facts in order to support sales of a product. Unfortunately, many people on the Internet still believe what they read without verifying facts and figures. Think of the consequences if someone were to stop there doctor-recommended treatment and act on the claims made by HaitiHelpers posts. At best someone would most likely realize after a few weeks or months that it was not helping. At worst, the lack of ADD effective treatment could cause something very serious. Think about this -- research clearly shows that teenagers with ADD that are not being treated have the a much higher incidence of driving problems and accidents. What if a parent, who is uncomfortable with their child taking a prescription for ADD were to act on the information from HaitiHelper and switch out the teenagers medicine for a supplement. What if that then contributes to a serious auto accident? I realize that this is hypothetical, but considering the driving problems teens have in general, much less ADD untreated teams, I feel that it is a realistic scenario.
If anyone had tried glyconutrients they would be afraid of being flamed if they posted.
I totally disagree with you. There is a significant difference between asking the community about experience with something versus claiming that fiction is fact in order to get you to purchase a product. There is a clear difference between the two.
Last April I came across a post about glyconutrients and even made an inquiry to the website. Missed the guys call a couple of times and went in another direction. Then this week I heard from two different sources that they had great success with glyconutrients.
I think that personal experiences are always helpful as folks tried to weigh and balance all the alternatives. On the other hand I feel very strongly that posts should not be disguised advertising -- especially if the information might motivate someone to change their doctor recommended treatment plan. If someone wants to advertise they can purchase Google ads that can sit on the left side of the page. At least that way, unsuspecting community members will understand the true motive of the information. I think GlenW, Maxdad and Auntie are only trying to help other people, and keep them from getting scammed. It is unfortunately very easy for someone to get sucked into these things by someone who appears to be nice and shows what appears to be science based claims. My brother-in-law and his wife were buying oxygenated water at $12 per liter because a very "nice and caring" person suggested this would make a huge improvement in their health, and showed some pseudo-scientific data to support claims for the water. They did not have the money to spend on this water and keep up with their bills, but were buying the water because they were trying to watch out for their health. I am happy to say that they do not buy the water anymore, and are more careful about believing claims without real data. Spending money and time on scams only depletes resources and time that could better be spent on more proven forms of treatment. Off the soapbox... Maxdad we are on the same page as far as snake oil salesman. Only roasting over hot coals is good enough for them. However I am hopeful that there are more natural ways to help my child with his blessing of ADHD. I do careful research and do not just blow with the whims of the latest fix all. I would be remiss to pass over a possible solution without fully checking it out.My next step will be to personally contact the friends of friends who have tried Glyconutrients. If they, in fact, do not exist or if they are snake oil salesmen we will know. So far I have had huge success with my son and suppliments along with dietary changes. Today is day four of his being totally off meds. Life seems very normal and I am delighted!
Maxdad we are on the same page as far as snake oil salesman.
I totally support and applaud what you're trying to do with your child. You obviuously care very deeply to take the time to research information. I am the first to acknowledge that there are solutions out there that could be helpful but had not been fully investigated or tested. ADD, along with other brain disorders, is incredibly tricky to successfully treat. A perfect example of that is reading all the posts from people about what medicine works for them. One will work for someone extremely well, however will not work for the next person who may have the same symptoms and issues. And then there is also all of the other influences which affect our bodies success with treatment. For example, I have learned that I get about a 30% increase in benefit from Adderall if I severely limit sugar in my diet. And, I wholeheartedly applaud the dietary changes that you are implementing. I'm slowly learning how hugely important diet is to my treatment program. Keep us all in the loop with progress, I would really be interested to know how your child is doing after a few months. MaxDad Well the true test will be when he goes back to school and has to sit through grammer lessons. The good news is.. that if these kids, and I was one of them, can get through life safely they will lead us to the next generation. I see the ADHD people sitting in a sort of idea office, their job is to find soultions to issues and the non ADHD people impliment them. I believe we really can all live together without making each other crazy. Schools just need to get over the idea that learning can only happen if your butt is on your chair!!! Firstly thanks for the support from those who backed me against this scam. BL - glyconutrients is just a smoke and mirrors scheme that really doesn't even look good on paper when you read up on it. It claims it can modify sugars to work on everything but the fact is that sugar is sugar be it pure glucose, sucrose - whatever. Our body feeds on it as fuel and that's the end of the story. This cult has been rallying up people on the two fronts that they have a secret that only the select few know - and that they can make money on selling this info through a pyramid network. The first front is classic cult methodology - we know what others don't and that makes us special. The second is classic fraud and is found in telemarketing, home business scams, etc. This one has basically already been debunked a decade ago. It's been around a while and if you do a search on glyconutrients and filter out the pages that come direct from this cult you'll see that the world has checked out them and found them totally bogus.
Yes, My BIL bought this expensive machine (luckily he bought it used but new it is in the $400.00 range) that you soak your feet in. It has this low electrical current that is supposed to draw toxins from your body. I mean it was all that I could do to keep my uproarious laughter from exploding but to be polite I went ahead and stuck my feet in the machine. I knew it was a scam and actually rather dangerous at that! My water ended up being rather clear but when my BIL did it, it turned like yellow sludge. Even knowing that I still knew it was a Scam. Bless Glens heart because he explained how it worked. People just fall for things like this left and right and thats why there are so many Scam artists out there. Makes me sick! Oldtimer - if you want to drink sugar water you go ahead. But people here should know that this marketing SCAM can hurt people financially, physically and emotionally. It claims to cure everything from AIDS to ADHD with sugar and that's illegal, immoral and angers me like nothing else. I knock hurting the innocent oldtimer. I knock attempts to remove options. You can have any option you like - just don't try to take away mine or other peoples. This group goes beyond bordering on a cult and it hurts people. LOTS of people. Interpol has been informed about these posts. Hopefully someone goes to jail. You know you guys can be so harsh!!!I really wanted to know if anyone had first hand experience with glyconutrients. Then this week I heard from two different sources that they had great success with glyconutrients. If anone has tried them please e-mail me privately. Folks Despite the "wisdom" provided by Oldtimer, Glen is absolutely, 100%, on target. This is yet another scam that has been cleverly disguised. There's no research that validates that glyconutrients are effective as treatment for ADD. In fact, HatieHelper disguises legitimate research in the effort to support her claim. For example, she references a Nobel Prize for medicine awarded to Dr. Gunter Blobal for his work in the area of glycobiology. However if you actually review his research you will find that he discovered that proteins have intrinsic signals that govern their transport and localization in the cell. There are no mentions of monosaccharides, or sugars, and absolutely no mention of "glycobiology". Also, when you follow the trail of many of the "testimonials", you will eventually arrive at a web site: www.resultsproject.net This is your stereotypical scam site disputing everything we know about ADD and claiming that for the low, low price of $19.95 you can actually take a "lab test" to determine the "cause" of your ADD.
Here is something that is not drugs!! It's what our cells need for our immune systems to work right! Let me know what you think.
Okay Brenda ... since you asked ... You are yet another in a long line of truly greedy, lying and disgusting people that seek to play on the fears of others by convincing them to spend money on your "magic" elixir. You care nothing for the lives that you might negatively impact with your garbage. MaxDad Mannatech info: http://www.ncahf.org/articles/j-n/mannatech.html http://www.mlmwatch.org/04C/Mannatech/mannatech00.html
Glen you knock everyone here. Try for 4 months and if it isn't working quit the stuff. Oldtimer, if you are suggesting everyone just buy a product to try without doing some research about the product then I think that is irresponsible of you. I prefer to do the research BEFORE I spend my money. Just because you read it somewhere doesn't mean it it true. This is so obviously a SCAM! These people are laughing all the way to the bank. I believe in Natural before drugs anyhow. Cocaine is natural, in its pure form, cocaine is a white crystalline powder extracted from the leaves of the South American coca plant. Marijuana is natural. There are thousands of plants that can make you very sick or die. But they are natural!! So you prefer to just blindly trust any product that slaps the label "natural" on it and hope none of the poisonous plants are part of the ingredients? I could careless what the fda says. They claim stuff is good and recall it later and add warnings later also. Oh Oldtimer, the FDA doesn't claim to know it all! They cannot foresee what a product might do 50 yrs down the road although they do their best with scientific studies to make a determination. How can you expect them to guarantee everything? YOU YOURSELF REPEATIDLY SAY WE ARE ALL DIFFERENT AND REACT DIFFERENTLY. If the FDA were to withhold all drugs until they knew for certain there are no ill side affects we would never get a new medication to try in our lifetime. Give them some credit. They admit when they are wrong and re-label when necessary unlike some of the idiot scammers out there. All our bodies are different if it helps stay with if not quit. Herbs were the first medacines anyhow created by God. Found in Genesis.
If I heard you say, I tried "such and such" and it really helped and post specific area's that you saw improvement we may respect your opinion a bit more. But since I've known you I have yet to see any "natural" product improve anyone in your family. Correct me if I'm wrong. Honestly, Oldtimer, I care about you and your family and I hate to see you or anyyone throwing their hard earned money away on worthless products. With that said, I agree that our foods now are lacking in essential nutrients. I agree that if you can find truly organic foods that is best. I do believe in taking as many steps as possible to avoid medication but not to the extent that harm is done by withholding meds and not to the extent that one trys every product that proclaims to help without the scientific data to back it. There are other companies who have some of the nutrients in their products. Mannatech has the patent on all 8 of them. It's an MLM (multi-level marketing) scam. They go under the brand name (and other names) of manntech. One blogger that got the info is at http://www.ratbags.com/rsoles/comment/mannatech.htm and has great info. from the information I've garnered it's all sugars. Unless you have a genetic disorder that stops the normal breakdown of glycogens (sugars) you can't use this stuff. In fact glycoids (sugars) will eventually harm the circulatory, excretory and digestive systems. Sugar is bad under any name. This disgusting scam has been listed by many sites under multiple threadings as a get-rich or heal-all quick scam (http://www.brusselsgardenpatch.be/mannatech.html) and has refused to be listed as a medicine by the food and drug administration in the US and other world health agencies. Instead they make veiled (by them directly) claims of healing everything from AIDS, brain damage, autism - pretty much if you got it they cure it. Heck - in new zealand they consider this scumbag group a cult! (http://www.cults.co.nz/m.php) Just remember when they try to sell you a bridge you'd better get both a receipt and your head examined. In the Usa it's elegal to force medacines for kids to be in school. Glen you knock everyone here. Try for 4 months and if it isn't working quit the stuff. I believe in Natural before drugs anyhow. I could careless what the fda says. They claim stuff is good and recall it later and add warnings later also. All our bodies are different if it helps stay with if not quit. Herbs were the first medacines anyhow created by God. Found in Genesis. Any news on this? I am interested in glyconutrients for my son. Is there a company besides Mannitech that sells them? |
