Are you currently on medication? | ADHD Information

I'm currently on Wellbutrin which will probably change on Monday since it's not working for my ADD.  I have a doc appointment the 21st.

Been on Strattera for 1 month.  Just hated the side effects!

currently on:

20 mg. adderall xr or whatever..xl?

300 mg wellbutrin.

great combo for me..wellbutrin makes it so much easier for me not to go beyond the basement floor mentally. used to be..whenever i was upset i would instantly plunge into a very borderline clinical despair. i'm so glad that is OVER!

I'm currently taking Adderall (regular, not XL) 20mg. 3 times a day. It helps me focus most of the time, but sometimes i have days or even weeks that i feel so unmotivated. I'm 5'3 & 110pounds. Also taking Klonapin 3 times a day for my nerves. when i see my Doc again, they may have to change something. I'm just not sure what.I do have have med coverage. The copay has gone through the roof! I can only afford generic, even though most people say the gen. adderall is not as good. some meds don't come in gen. so my treatment will depend on whats available. other than adderall, some give samples. depends on the doc.

Oh I did want to add, one of the recent meds the doctor was trying her darndest to put me on is called Risperdal Resperidone 1 mg per day.

At one point they had me taking 5 mg per day, but they kept messing up what does they wanted me on, then they were mixing and totally over doesed me one day because the nurse said one thing and did the total opposite putting me on a new med with the does jacked up.

I went to work, but I had to call the doctor cause I ended up on the floor half the day just knocked out!

Now I am totally purged of all meds again. Cause they kept messing me up and not staying with their plans on dosing, that is another reason I am looking for a new doctor.

I am currently on Adderall xl 20mg 2x's a day, and I am also waiting on a call back from the doc about taking Lexapro at night.

Was just wondering out of the group here are currently taking medication for their ADD.

Myself I can't remember the meds I have been given in the past (names and such) but for better then 10 years I have been managing un treated. Not because I like it that way, but no medical coverage.

Looking to get back on meds if I can, was wondering what is most commonly used, which ones people like the most and key factors with these meds.

Thanks,
