I am curious if anyone else has experienced this:
When I eat starchy foods such as bread, potatoes, chips, etc. or sugary foods, my symptoms seem to get worse in a matter of 15-20 minutes. My confusion gets worse, drowsiness, inability to make decisions, etc.
Sometimes I would eat donuts in the morning at the office and by 10 AM would be in my car in the parking lot sleeping. I would have to go there or I felt like I would pass out at my desk. The same would happen if I had a large starchy lunch.
I know there are several times I have gone on diets to lose weight. When I have been on the ones that restrict carbs, my ADD would seem less severe.
Ooops. I just realized there is already a post out here called "Diet & ADD". I started this one without checking.
I even have ADD moments when I am posting on the ADD message board!
Oh, that is exactly what I was looking for,
My self personally I don't ever think I could succeed at dieting, just can't give up the carbs, everything I eat is carbs.
But it is my main stay, so I was never really able to determine if it was affecting my ADD.
