hey, that's our storage locker. when we're hungry, you can find popcorn, m n ms, even some crunchy protein. Pens, pencils, batteries! Barbies clothes, ants. And the bottom swag is ripped out, so it's got better circulation.golly gosh, now i'm embarassed

now i know im not alone...........lol

I wish it was just the cushions. Our couch has
the leg rests that come out and it's leather. If
something falls between the cushions it's guarented
to slide underneath. Then you have to usually lift or
crawl under to find whatever you've bleepin' lost.
It's SCARY underthere.you are soo soo mean ktsdistraction
i'm trying to convince my daughter to clean under the couch.. i'm too afraid of what i might find
I always thought this would be an interesting survey to pose to ADHDrs. I find myself along answer number 6 being the spiders and bugs since my couch is also my bed, and ive gotten bitten and its bottomless and everything imaginable is in there as of now and ive lost track. My couch eats things.  Ive learned to live in harmony with my bug and spider friends since i never get time to clean the couch or i get distracted and i think their adapting to me since they havent' pulled anything on me lately. So, its all good!!!! Its all good!!! What about everyone else? Whats everyone else's experiences with how bad it is underneath their couch cushions? My son and his friends go through streaks where for some unfathomable reason, they have to pull the cushions off and make forts, tents, whatever. Pulling the cushions off used to sweep it clean constantly but now that they are older, there is more accumulation between cleanings. When he is a teen, it will probably be number 6!

Ah, our lovely habits of neglect and procrastination! LOL

I'll tell you how bad my habits are - and this is on good meds mind you!

Until about a month ago I didn't even have any furniture - just a kitchen chair (no table), a bed and my computer.  Spartan - yes - after all noone comes to visit that still makes me all nervy!

Well, my parents moved off to their retirement home - far enough away that they didnt' want to take their furniture.  I inherited the majority of it and they helped me move it up to my place.

Ok- it's here.  One month later - I have not set up most of it.  My couch is upside down right in the middle of my living room.  In just one month it now has dirty laundry hanging from it, and coffee stains all over the back and bottom.  I make my coffee then take it to my bedroom to drink at my computer.  I am a klutz and spill a lot of it.

I hate being so slack - but I keep it in my home right now.  I know that even if I had set up my couch it would only mean the stains would be on top and the dirty clothing would have a more comfy home.  The bugs - I'm sure there's a few spiders and creepy things playing campout under there and I am more than happy to let them live there in peace as long as they don't come out to play.  If they do I have extra strength bug spray by my bed.  Yes, it's for all the bugs and dust bunnies under my bed.  I clean under there once a year (whether it needs it or not).
