I started taking Adderall XR 30mg March, 2004. I was already on Lexapro.
I was wondering is Adderall meant to be long-term/lifetime rx?
I have dealing with depression all of my adult life(52 yrs old). One of my younger brothers was diagnosed Stage 4 Prostate cancer January, 2004 and passed away May 2004. It never occurred to me that part of my problem before might have been ADD, but maybe the stress of losing my brother sort of fueled the ADD behavior/symptoms.
The medications has enabled me to function, but I can't seem to shake the depression. Sort of like the chicken/egg question, but in reverse. I stopped taking the Lexapro for a couple of weeks, but that was a mistake.
