Welcome and another Happy Birthday! I think you'll find yourself at home here.

Welcome aboad and join the fun. Maybe it is not really fun. Most of us deal with some pretty rough stuff, but we try to keep a positive attitude. Actually, sometimes we do just have fun!

It sure is nice to have a place to talk to other people who can understand! Glad you joined us!

Hi & happy birthday. I'm sure you'll like it here. We all have alot in common!

Happy Birthday. You've been working in news since you were 19?? You got in early. How did you manage that, you lucky dog! Was your treatment for depression unsucessful? Why have you now decided to be treated (and diagnosed) for ADHD?

Hello folks!

I'm new here and just figured I'd write a quick "hi, here's what's up with me" post by way of introduction.

I'm 25 years old (as of today actually!) and within the past 6 months or so have been realizing that I've had ADD just about my entire life. Before anyone asks, no I haven't been formally diagnosed. But the more I read from books and in places like this, the more I identify with other ADDers. As far as doctors go... I've been treated (and medicated) for depression for the past 7 or 8 years. My current problem is that I just moved out to Rhode Island from Wisconsin 9 months ago and haven't gotten around to finding a doctor out here. I've gotten as far as looking for doctors on-line, and found a couple that look promising. But actually calling has been a little beyond me so far.  Anyone live out here? Or Boston area? That could recomend a good doc with ADD experience?

That's the stuff that made me seek out this board. But as for me...

I'm a television newscast director at WPRI in Providence, RI. I've been working in television for 6 years now in various behind-the-scenes type roles. I love it. I'm the proud Mommy of a cockatiel named Hermione and a Netherland Dwarf bunny named Benjamin. I used to have a conure named Dolce who was my best buddy, but he died suddenly a few months ago.

I'm a blogger, geocacher, Trekker, general sci-fi fan, and geek. And proud of it thankyouverymuch! The past couple years I've been having loads of fun rediscovering my love of photography (lots of that posted at my blog) I read constantly, when I'm not watching TV, playing a computer game, blogging, and having an IM conversation with friends or parents (all at the same time of course)

So that's me! Hi!

Hello, welcome to the board and Happy Birthday!!!

I found this link recently that took me into some sites for looking up doctors (least found one for my problem Bi-Polar) you might find one similar for ADD.

I am diagnosed BP, but I relate more myself with ADD so I have been researching to prepare for battle when I do go back to doctor to get on medication.

Hope that you have a great day, and you might check out our live chat session, we just started meeting each other on. Have a post further down.

Sunidesus,

Happy birthday and welcome!

Now I have a question for you! What's a blogger?
