How is everyone? My name is Cyndi I am new to the message boards. I was just diagnosed with ADHD in April 2005 and I am 20 years old. Right now I am on Concerta I am fine with concerta but when I started to take it I was having anixety attacks and was shaking. lol the first two weeks I was on it I cleaned my whole house (I am a lil lazy when it comes to cleaning ). But the anixety attacks were killing me and it was freaking out my friends and also I wanted a lot of attention. I was not depressed but what my doctor did was lower my dosage and put me on a anti depressent and I feel good about my self for I have no more panic attacks, I am more social and I can concentrate on things. Hi cyndi my name is shelly and i am on ritalin i seem to have alot of energey in the morning and then i slow down. I know what you mean by cleaning i catually get stuff done around the house. I havent tried concerta but i heard it works for 12 hours. I am on 20 miligrams fo ritlain and on lactimal and ablify as well as ativan so i can sleep at night. I am bipolor disordoer as well email me if you would like to chat sometime shell I'm on 54mg of concerta (Started on 27), and I feel very 'Boosty' during the day, but not all 'Geeked' out or on 'Rapid Drive'. It gives me just the energy I need (I have inattentive ADD). At night, Concerta doesn't keep me awake!
