i think i have adhd what do you think | ADHD Information
i was only on a newbies 2 week trial. but last few days of the trial i had active suicidal ideation
fuzzz >>> Don't miss your apointment next week, whatever you do. Are you on any med's now. What meds have you used in the past. Did they help you. You could have ADhD, wait to be DX'd before jumping to any con[or pro] culsions. Most ADhDrs have more than one co-existing contition, many have two, three or more. Bordumb + drugs= bad combination. > BAD <
It sounds like youv'e struggled ALOT through your life. Hopefully the shrink can help DX you and get you headed on the right track.
Stay tuned for further messages from the 'b club'.
fuzzy, are you my twin???
pilgrim, love the message !!!!
hey.. that sounds almost exactly like me when i was in highschool/middle
school (did really well, but skipped school, i drank a lot too) and the thing
w starting all the projects and not finishing and not being able to do
schoolwork (no matter how hard you force yourself) is the exact same w
me too.. so excluding all the other stuff about depression, you sound a
lot like an ad/hdernot on any meds right now. was given trial dose of effexor but that
didn't work, so went cold turkey. then got hospitalised after raging
session with shrink and they gave me zyprexa and remeron. didn't take
any of it. then took 2 weeks worth of zyprexa in 1 shot. then cold
turkey since.
effexor has some nasty side effects and withdrawls...
waiting to see shrink next week, but accidentally came across definition of adhd and think i have it.
i'm 25 fmeale, been diagnosed as bipolar, borderline, dysthymic, depression since i was 17.
went through 4 kindergartens, was an active kid, though not disruptive.
climbed trees, ran around mountains, biked. liked to draw pictures.
always been awkward socially. always been a messy tomboy-ish girl.
went to a private school between grades 2 and 11 and did really well.
switched school in grade 12. nearly got expelled for disciplinary
behaviour (skipped school, went out everynight, did drugs). then spent
5 yrs in uni instead of 4, with depression problems. always had trouble
with reading long articles, still do. some substance abuse during uni.
disorganised, have trouble starting schoolwork unless very interested.
always start multiple projects. have periods where i'm superactive
(3000m swim in the morning followed by hr on bike before school). bored
alot so do drugs are just take large amount of prescription or over the
counter meds. very bad with paying the bills even though i have the
money - had power cut off yesterday because i only paid one electricity
bill this year.
what do you think?
sounds like it could be ADHD.
Welcome to the forum!
Drug abuse is not a good thing! By the way!!!
most of the time when i don't like the authority, i just stop showing up. so i don't have trouble with authority.

i know i'm superior..
there are a few ppl on this forum who are almost, and i reiterate, almost as smart as moi

i also like to pick verbal intellectual fights in class. to assert my superiority. :p
i flicker between a massive ego and super low self esteem
fuzzy38624.7385416667hehe, ditto.
anyway i got to go.
see you around!
Bro{okelea} to whom{s} would you be re.fering to . . .

Stop picking on briggy & jonesy ! ! ! Right now !
FUZZ---hang in there 'til you see your shrink. Then take your meds like your suppost to. Do you have probleblems obeying authority . . . I know I do . . .

and I think i problems spelling sometimes :::::

fuzzy, efexor is a major culprit...
i know a few ppl who had complete breakdowns whilst on it.. and others who had even bigger ones when coming off it..
i don't have any meds.
the closest thing to meds i've had in my life was the 2 weeks of effexor when i took a pill a day like i was supposed to.
i have trouble concentrating in class. i only have 3 classes this
semester and the profs are interesting, though classmates bore the hell
out of me. i had to switch one class because the prof was going to bore
me to death and on the sheet i had in for that class, i wrote a rather
snarky comment. (then i dropped the class and picked up another one
instead.)
you sound like me.. its uncanny really..
i teach, and i keep in mind those teenagers that may get bored easily..
i try to engage them - and i never rant on.. its boring!!
