Is there some program in your state that could help you?  I wish I could help you get some medicine you need.  Maybe if you check with the local medical community in your area, they might have something that could help you.

I have to put myself in the meds rock! category!!!

The dexedrine I take worked right off the bat and I've been working fine on it ever since!

I'm glad I'm in Canada where the MD is totally covered (amongst other reasons), and my company covers 80 percent of my pharmacy costs.  I'd still take them if they didn't but it's a good perk.

I have to find DR that will prescribe.  I want to try Adderall.  I need to have some one on one with psychiatrist.

I applied for the Oregon health plan.  Medical Assistance Denied.

I'm not over 65

I'm not a child

I'm not pregnant

I'm not in need of treatment for breast or cervical cancer

(This next reason, was the one that really got me!!!)

I Don't have certain immigration or alien status!!!

So being broke, born, and raised in Oregon gives me fewer rights!

afford to go to the dr??  i thought that if you can't afford it, then they will just let you go for free..  once you have a prescription, you can always buy them over the internet where you may be able to buy them at a cheaper price..

Have you gone directly to the pharmaceutical companies?? I know for a fact that the companies in the US have programs to help people financially strapped to keep using their meds.  Not up here but I know the US has it.  Check directly and they should have a phone number to call and forms to fill out.

Sure beats not having 'em!  Also, do you make enough to afford blue cross or blue shield?  You should try and get coverage for some of your health!
