has anyone read | ADHD Information
today my therapist/counselor told me to buy this book called the anxiety and phobia workbook by edmund j bourne, ph.d.....so i did and was wondering if anyone has read it yet? if not i will let you know how it is....it is mainly for my agoraphobia, anxiety, and depression. but if anyone has let me know what you think i just bought it and wont have a chance to start reading it till next weekBrig:
Although I haven't read through the entire book yet, it has been very helpful for me so far and is loaded with lots of techniques.
You might also check out the Dummies series, they have books on ADHD, depression and anxiety. Again, I haven't read through the entire books yet, but I have found the depression one to be helpful so far. It has lots of helpful techniques in it too. I also liked the fact that the authors seem to be very sensitive, non-judgemental and encouraging. They don't talk down at you, like another depression book I had.
The ADHD for dummies seems pretty general to me b/c I've read a lot of books on the subject and I haven't had the chance to delve into the anxiety one yet.
Hope this helps. MM

[QUOTE=Davidornado]No, but let me know what you think if I should.
I'm not really a depressive person, nor anxious.
Just a little nuts...
