Does anyone else have a point in their day, when they reach the end of their resources, and then your brain goes to jello.
I find out on really stressfull days, I go for some time, but there will be a time when enough will be enough, and I have to unstop and unplug. My wife will get upset with me because the laundry still needs folding, and the trash still needs to go out. I have three bills needing paying, and it would be great if I put that rocker in the celler. But I just stop, declair I am done, from a long day, and explain politely that I am going to sit down because I have reached my limmits.
I wonder if we have lower tollerance to stress, or maybe because we have to concentrait so hard its more tiring.
Either way, I wonder if anyone else reaches a frazzle point...where the concentration needed to function becomes too difficult without rest.
alwaysI do have days when stress wears me out fast. If I am pushed to perform after that, I turn into a real b*^#. I don't mean to but I can't think straight and everything goes by me and through me at warp speed. I just can't cope.
Yesterday morning, I reached my limit by 9 AM! It was a day from hell!

the point changes all the time. i'm never sure where it is 'till i get there. could be 10 am, or three days into insomnia.
Of course! The brain's like any organ - you exert it enough and it runs out of energy. It's hardest for us - because we have to watch what we do and say, ignore the chatter, monitor our behavior, and still keep the normal day-to-day events moving along.
Haven't you all noticed that if it's something enjoyable, like video games, chatting on the internet or reading an engrossing book that we can stay on it for what seems days on end?? No energy loss there because we let the world drop off and the only thing the brain needs to work on is the enjoyable one. Makes the world of difference.
