go to adhd.com and take the little survey.  if you have symptoms or if it says to print and take to dr than do so.....it is only a quiz not a diagnosis.  get checked by either a paychiatrist or a neuro dr you might need a refferal from your dr for insurance to cover it.  hope this helps...if not let us no we will help you out....that is what we are here for

ok go to www.adhd.com and when it pulls up depending on how old u r like if u are an adult click on the right hand side that says take the screener it is in orange color.....then scroll down and answer the ?'s and press submit and print out the results and take it to your dr.....any test or research you can find and do b4 your appt will help....

Yer i have a doctor i can see.
He thinks i do because i go hyber sometimes and i get angry very easily and i forget things! It does worry me alot because its making me paranoid! yer i have lived my life but i need to no or not!

You sounded a little worried in your first post, but if you can wait until you see your doctor, he'll know what to do.

Hello - - First of all, be completely honest with your doctor.  It might help to make a list of all of the things you think might be symptoms and bring them with you to your appointment.

Some pediatricians are uncomfortable diagnosing ADD or ADHD.  As a result, your doctor may refer you to see a specialist like a neuropsychologist who can do some testing with you to determine if you have ADD or ADHD.

Good for you for taking the step to see your doctor.  Keep us informed on your progress and how you make out at your appointment.
