Easiest is to just call the pharmacist at your drug store, he or she can tell you about any drug interactions... I had called mine to ask about Ibuprofin for headache and she said it was fine. I'm on methyphenidate.
they don't mind you calling.. I've called mine a lot, LOL

There is a tab at the top that says Drug interactions. If you click that, you can look up any med. Hopefully, that will be all you need. I haven't used it.
thank you losingmymind anything will help to not go through the horror i went through today...and you would think i would be feeling better i took that cough meds at 12:30 and still have a heart rate at 118. alot lower than 148. but still it is scarySince my son had open heart surgery I am constantly checking any meds that he takes....you can never be to safe when it comes to medications. Sometimes the doctor forgets things that are in your chart when they prescribe meds. My sons doc told me to give him benadryl and when I went to the pharmacist to have him run it through there system it popped up that benadryl can not be taken because of his heart. When I called the doctor back he apoligized. There are 3 docs and the one that prescribed the meds didn't go through his chart when he prescribed the med.
Always keeping us on our toes!!!
Barb i couldnt get yours to pull up...i will try again later
losingmymind, i got it to pull up but it only told me about the current meds i am currently taking...i need to know if there are over the counter drugs that will interact like my cough medicine did today, not just prescrition meds....it helped to know about what i am taking now....but how do i find one that just pops up over the counter meds
That's strange. I cut, copied and pasted it in. Oh well, at least the others have given you some they know are good. That's better anyway.
That's strange. I cut, copied and pasted it in. Oh well, at least the others have given you some they know are good. That's better anyway.
