Strattera. Day 12 | ADHD Information

It boggles me how a drug that was used for anti depression makes people suicidal.  I actually feal better on it mood wise considering i just lost my job.  But on any med have you guys noticed a difference comprehending stuff when you read it.

Brain chemistry is an odd science isn't it?  One person takes a med and feels fantastic and another gets the urge to pack it in.  So wierd.

Personally - when I tried Strattera I didn't care for it one bit.  I was doped out - staring into space.  Also, I found that it was a struggle even to move around.  Like being mired in quicksand.  Took a while to wear off and it wasn't pleasant.  Got through a week - couldn't do one more day after that.

Hope it works for you (Stratterra that is) It didn't help me much.  I had the side effects too.  I decided to stop taking it.

i haven't taken strattera.

there are loads on this board more experienced than me.  sure they'll be able to give you a heads up.

but if i was going to go for my medication of choice it would be adderall.  i think strattera has too many negative side-effect re. feeling suicidal and all... but see what the others say.

First off I dont have adhd.  Just add.

I started strattera and got so sh*tty side effects.  Couldnt sleep for a few days, tired, hot flashes.  And the worse was WEIRD sexual side effects.  But now they are getting better.  Every day I look for signs to see if it is working.  Since I lost my job I Read my cpa book every day to see if i can focus on reading it anybetter.  It seem s like today I could read it better without having to go back and re read what i just read.  I hope it wasnt just my mind and tommorrow it is even better.  Does this sound like how it was for you guys when it worked or is it just in my mind?

I have mild adult add.  It just was amplified when i started my job that requirede attention to detail and I was not interested in it.
