Dexedrine | ADHD Information

Dexedrine is dexedrine sulphate, adderal is a mix of dexedrine salts (other mixes), and ritalin is methylphenidate.  They all work a bit differently on ADHD so the MD or psych determines (with your help) which might be best.What is the diffrence between dexedrine ,adderall and ritalin?Hi Dolittle, I would add be aware of the "coming down", if you are taking short acting especially, I got so burnt out I could hardly function so during the day I think it's important to have enough meds so you don't have to spread them out as I did and have huge gaps of being exhausted...on the other hand there is a chance they won't affect you that way but I've seen other posts where people talk about that. Mostly for most people, Ritalin is weaker than dexidrine, and ADDerall is the strongest of all.

Ritalin LA is just right for me. I was prescribed ADDerall, but it made me a jitter bug.

They all come in immediate release forms, which are the tablets, or the longer acting, which are specialized capsules. These have extensions such as LA, XR, and I forget.
