for those who have kids on medate? | ADHD Information

i was wondering what stength medate that the kids take. my 6 year old was on concerta 54 but the new dr wanted to try medate he gave josh 20 mg but told me if 20 did'nt work to give him 2 20's . i gave him the one 2o on sat gees it was like giving him nothing, i had to give him a ritalin 10 in the afternoon because he was bounching off the walls. today i gave josh 2  ,20's but he still isn't doing well he's told me no on everything. the only good i see is that he eats good.but he can't sit still even with the 2 ,20's. but i want to cry because everytime a dr suggests something new it does'nt work. im curious i think josh just really eats up the meds. thanks. joshsmom38635.4980671296What was wrong with Concerta?even with the concerta he still had some impulse problems,so i guess the dr wanted to try the medate so he would eat better,which he does however he can't do much else so today for school i gave him concerta again.Is your son on the Metadate Cd for long acting or short acting? I think the CD is long acting.
