Ask your pharmacist what it tastes like. If it tastes bad, pharmacists can frequently flavor liquid meds (grape, watermelon, bubblegum, etc) to suit a child's likes.
Does anyone know what this taste like?
Also, my 6yr old son is on Metadate CD 20mg but by early evening he gets very hyper. Is there something short/immediate acting that I could/should ask the doc for? It would have to be either a capsule that can be opened and sprinkled on applesauce or a "not bad" tasting liquid. He will not chew pills - we have tried every vitamin there is!
Any advice?
It is grape-flavored. We are awaiting a prescription for it ourselves...son hates to take his pill and I am wondering how this will work compared to the Adderall.
