Since 2001, I've met about 30 pairs of grieving parents who have lost a child to SSRI antidepressants. They were not looking to put their child on drugs, they just were following the doctor's orders.
After listening to all their stories and then reading the posts on this board of mothers trying to get their child on drugs, I just want to say...
YOU WILL NEVER FORGIVE YOURSELF IF YOUR CHILD DIES FROM A DRUG YOU GOT HIM ON !!!!!
There was a man I met at the FDA hearings in Feb, 2004. His ex wife insisted that their son "seek treatment" for his depression. A few weeks later the child killed himself. Mommy couldn't handle her grief and killed herself.
I realize that the death rate from ADHD drugs is a lot less than from "safe" SSRI antidepressants, but it is there. With these ADHD meds there is an increased risk of death to your CHILD !!!!

DON'T FEED THE TROLL!!!!!Even if the ADHD drugs don't kill your child.... IT'S VERY OBVIOUS IN THE MANUFACTURER'S WARNINGS THAT THESE DRUGS ARE ADDICTIVE.
So, your child on drugs today will probably grow up to be a drug addict.
