I truley do think this is red hat society crap. That advocate wrote a e-mail to the counselor and asked her something else. Then at the bottom it said, her organization was having a variety show and was letting her know about it. This is what the bottom of the e-mail said.
Variety show 12/5 Like a secret message, like I'm stupid or something. Can I just fire that Advocate and get another one. Or just hire another, so the both of them can work together. This is such, crap....this system sucks. I feel like I am at a give take class for little kids. And my kid is getting nothing!
I don't know about this Advocate thing, She called we are to meet monday.
So we will see how this goes.
Can I ask for a 504 and special services, with out the Advocate present. Couldn't she just show up when the plan is being written. I am really confused, I called the Department of Education, yesterday, and spoke to a man. That ordered the 504 and special services if needed. I have yet to speak to my Advocate. I went over her head, but, I do not feel like I need to play games. Was this a bad idea? I can not believe I sent her a e-mail and let her know and still have not been contacted. I think I am going to contact her agency the beginning of next week if I don't hear back, and make a complaint about this. I am tired and am just looking for help. I feel like this counselor and Advocate are playing the red hat society game, yes, I went over both of there heads. But, I need things now, not later. They told me this 504 could take up to 60 days to implement. My son is not getting any help at school and I am just so tired of this crap, discrimination...etc.
