Combination adderall and ritalin? | ADHD Information

That is not a common prescription at all, but maybe someone else has heard of it. You're at the maximum Adderall dosage now, and it's the most active of the CNSs. Any side effects? Like twitchy fingers? Loss of appetite?

What was your diagnosis? Why did doc choose amphetamine salts? What exactly does your pill bottle call the drug? It could be not Adderall you're taking. If it's just dexedrine, then yeah, that's a different ball game. Nevertheless, you should experience some effect from the dose.

Did a lable come with the medication? Ask your pharmacist for a consumer label that comes with each medication. Adderall is a mix of amphetamines, four actually. Dexidrine is a Canadian standalone. Ritalin is methylphenidate. Concerta is methylphenidate in a slow release capsule.

Right now I am taking 30mg 2x daily of amphetamine salts (Eon labs). I still haven't noticed any significant improvements. Just wondering if anyone takes a combination of adderall with ritalin? I know many take a combination of one or the other with a second-line medication (i.e. wellbutrin), but does anyone take the two psychostimulants together? did you try ritalin yet?

I tried ritalin (worked but made me very sleepy)

moved onto adderall - motivated me, slowed my brain down but made me compulsive and didnt really effect anything else.

switched to focalin - now I understand this whole being able to stick to something I'm not completely interested in.

Focalin is high grade Ritalin.

Deximethylphenidate.

David, you need to increase your dosage, obviously.
