Psych visit today | ADHD Information

Thought I was doing good on everything, but Psych apparently didn't .  Took me off EVERYTHING. No more Lexapro, no more Strattera.    Now 150mg. of Welbutrin .  Check back in two weeks. 

Don't think she liked some of my answers - won't go into that and I really had a major BLANK right in the middle of a story I was telling.  She asked me what I was thinking.  Don't know.  Are you suppose to be thinking in a blank?  I never remember.

Input?  Anyone - What's up with Welbutrin?
Ok, makes more sence now,  except for that part of the chemical companies.
Maybe it has more to do with the Panic disorder then?
Yeah, she started me off on Strattera, said she could not up the mg. said we'd talk Adderal sp?? in 2 weeks.

Will the Wellbutrin help with the hyperactivity?  I hope so , I'm all scraped up like a 9 year old.  Fell out of a swing on the playground (Thank goodness it did not hurt the little boy I was holding)  And fell off the jumpoline and skinned my elbow.  Maybe that's not hyperactivity, maybe I'm just ja Kluts

Wellbutrin has ADHD mitigation effects. It's also a lo-active anti-D, anti-A (anxiety).

It was transport blocking effects for the degradation of serotonin, dopamine, and norepinephrine.

All of which are implicated in ADD, ADHD, Depression, and Anxiety DISorders.

Doc put me on Wellbutrin, and lowered my Cymbalta the other day, too.

Maybe the chemical companies are giving commission incentives to doctors who prescribe drugs to women who are begging them as business expenses.

Well, that last sentence did nothing for the credibility of the former ones, did it?

Wow, what a change! I don't know the exact things they give Welbutrin for, I
am sure someone here will. Seems to me to be more toward the depression
or anxiety side of ADD et al. I suppose they know best . . . at least we hope
so.
