Breggin doesn’t believe in ADHDThis is Gnaylors source she is telling you to read. He doesn't believe in the diagnosis. This will the last post I'll do on this entire subject: The doctor and the poster, but this doctor doesnpt believe ADHD exists. Read the link below to se http://www.quackwatch.org/04ConsumerEducation/NegativeBR/bre ggin.html WHAT!!!! ADHD doesn't exsist?? What the heck is wrong with my kid then? Oh yes, must be SBS (spoiled brat syndrome).
Thanks, PSM

Tater---I think the quack has left the bldg. Too bad................. bump
BUMP!
Stephen Barrett is the head of Quackwatch (known by many as the ultimate "Quackpot"). - He hates alternative medicine or healthy options and anyone with the courage to speak out about the dangers of drugs. He also likes taking people to court. Last time he tried it (about 18 months ago) the Judge concluded that he was BIASED, AND UNWORTHY OF CREDIBILITY. No Judge has ever said that about Peter Breggin! "...Even better, was the wording in the three Judge Appeals Court decision which said that, among a laundry list of criticisms, Barrett and Sampson were "biased, and unworthy of credibility..."
Barrett is a quack running a quackpot site. Not an "unbiased" or "credible" source to be taking information from to try to discredit Peter Breggin - but there seems to be a shortage of sources to defend your anti-information position so I can quite understand you trying.

I would love to know his address so the next time my 6 yr old goes into a rage, instead of having deal with something that doesn't exist, I could just drop him off over there.... Well, I have to say......he got one thing right: Children with diagnosed with ADHD our most creative, sensitive, energetic, and intelligent That is the truth....What he doesn't see is the exhaustion us parents/teachers have after dealing with this child all day (no meds) or how most children with ADHD or ADD are constantly told how stupid they are and how they can never listen or do anything right! (Not all parents do this), but lots of people in there life will say those things and I guess that's better on the psyche then trying meds to keep them focused and able to pay attention so that doesn't happen!!!! I agree that everone is entitled to their opinion, but I don't believe that you should protest that your way it the only way. If there's one thing I've learned in this life it's that We are allowed to view things differently and live our lives how we chose and if the person down the road thinks differently that OKAY!! This guy is absolutely nuts:::::: wow - thanks fo rthe follow-up psm! I love Barkley's point and am glad to see im stepping out there and saying hey this guy is a quack and has no info to back up his conspiracy theory charges! Hey guys my kids have SBS too - imagine that Oh and I had it as a kid too and davidoronado's house must be a case study in SBS!! Tater---I think the quack has left the bldg. Too bad................. [/QUOTE] Now THAT is something to quack about!
