Blanks to Blinks | ADHD Information

It can take a month for meds to settle in.  The distractions - well they may not completely vanish but should go down to where you control the on/off switch.

Make sure to get the councilling along with the meds.  They give you the tools to say "no" more powerfully to the urge to float away when it's a mundane or anxiety-driven task.  Cleaning a cage is sure mundane and even now I would be likely to find something more "important" to do.  That may never change LOL!

Give it time - you are seeing improvement - ride the wave to better times!

Well, not so far. I'm only like 5 days into it, but I can already tell the difference when I'm under its influence. I do not have the LA cap, but the QA tab, so gotta take it 2x/day. Morn and a/b now. Thanks for reminding me!!!
Since I started the Wellbutrin, my blanks have turned into blinks.  I'm actually aware of what is going on around me.  But -  still can't focus long enough to finish a project.  Took 3 1/2 hours to clean the guinea pigs cage because of distractions

Star Adderall in 1 1/2 weeks.  Was Doc trying to get Strattera out of system or what.?

How long does it take to get the meds straight?
Hey, Cg,

Meds straight? Is there such a thing? Every doc is different, every patient, same. I'm still being messed around with meds, soon to be 9 years later. My Wellbutrin goes to full dose tomorrow, and so far I like it. He cut my Cymbalta in half, and 'scribed a low dose Well, in the morning. Not a Carpet Crawler now... Still take the Ritalin and the Provigil in the morning, the Cym, Ambien, and a bp med at night.
Are you "blanking" as often on the Wellbutrin?
