ADD and Blood Pressure: No Win? | ADHD Information

I've recently been bumped up on my Strattera meds to 60mg in the morning and 40mg in the afternoon and now my blood pressure is averaging 150/100 with a rate of 95.

I can finally think clearly but am worried that I'm cruising to a heart attack at 35.

I'm already taking Avapro at 300mg/day for the blood pressure and am debating whether to ask for a change to blood pressure meds or ADD meds.  I know I'm 30lbs overweight but I don't think dropping that weight will solve this dilemma.

It seems that all the ADD meds that can work will impact blood pressure.

My shrink, my cardiologist, and my primary care doc don't seem to be talking and all seem to be looking to me to tell them what I want.  I hate to think that this is a choice between my heart or my brain.

Any advice?
Yeah, for some reason some of these meds raise bp. I was 160/110 for like two weeks at first on Effexor, and doc wouldn't believe me, so I cold turkey quit taking it, and demanded another med. Later on, after 3 years on effexor, when I was changed to Cymbalta, it took 2 months to wean me off it, the withdrawal symptoms were sooooo bad.Now I know why doc was so pissed I cold turkeyd the stuff the first time around. Jeez, I've been going to him for a long time...

So anyway, he put me on Inderal, or propranolol, a very hard to pronounce word. But it works great, and sometimes my bp is like 90/50 when I'm relaxed, in the mornings. I stand up, and get dizzy, especially after straining at stool...
Oh, and I'm 30 pounds overwieght at least, too. But youthfully still cute and good looking, even at an alleged 50 years old...
