Different theories on raising a SN child.
Sometimes my DD is playing with the dogs a little boistrously & my hubby will yell at her to settle down and I'll respond "Why? Shes not hurting anything". So yes, I guess it happpens in others homes too.
Here we send ours out to play when he is to hyper it does help. We also watch his junk food intake also. Helps.Hi. I have a question to any parents out there of aspecial needs child. I am not a parent myself but I
am a special needs adult. I grew up (adopted) with
two very loving parents who raised me very well.
However, there were some problems involving how
to deal with me which ran into conflict in between the
two of them. For instance, my hyper active behavior
would as a child at many times get way out of
control. One parent would say "You need to calm
down so go to your room" And the other one would
say "No, she needs to let this hyper energy out of her
system." Does this happen in other families with
other special needs children?
