nobody knows what the ribbons, and the bracelets, and the symbols are all for. There's a claymation cartoon called "the wrong coast" that lampooned ribbons - had nicholas cage walk around with this transparent ribbon. when asked what it was - he said it was to bring attention to the shortage of ribbons in hollywood.
We know who we are. We love who we are. Screw the rest of 'em if they don't know already!! People come into contact with me always say - "well - that was something!" LOL!!
seriously - people - quit wearing those things. We ALL should support breast cancer awareness, AIDS research, baby seals, rainforests, not eating babies (though they ARE crunchy and a nice snack), etc.
I always say when people ask me to wear something like that - I support it - and people should know that already or they can just ask!
