does your child do this?Does your child stretch his arms straight when his legs are bent? Does your child stretch his legs stratight when his arms are bent? Does your child spring forward suddenly? Is it hard for your child to front crawl swim - with arms and legs bent while turnign his or her head? Does your child have a hard time keeping his balance? Can he do a cartwheel? Does your child have a hard time sitting at a desk with arms and legs bent? But can sit for a long time if sprawled out? Does your child have bad handwriting? If you said yes to any of these questions, you might want to check out a book I read about primitive reflexes. A person who still has a primitive reflex in their body, has symptoms of ADD and ADHD. These symptoms can disappear or be reduced by maturing a primitive reflex our bodies have that propel us forward when we have both arms and legs bent at the same time. Read the book Stopping ADHD to find this information. I read it and it is helping me so much!! I have ADD and I am doing the exercises in the book. I have less symptoms now. My mother even said that she noticed that I do not go on and on and on in converations anymore. She noticed that change in me. I'm not on meds right now, I am trying these exercises and it has helped me so much. I want to share the experience with all of you.
I do all of those things and I am 23!List the exercises please. I will have him try he loves any movement stuff. He is still a little off balance but Little gyms helped. I am thinking about building him a home gym. |
