switching docsReally! It's like glasses and reading. Now I'm in a situation where I don't have a job. I just lost my insurance on my car, so I can't dive. I can't do the programming I had been doing. I've been run around by doctors who won't see me unless I pay them up front. Or who just don't want to work with me because I don't have insurance. My life is totally screwed up by this, and all I need is the perscription. I know what works! I don't need a doctor! Well, except the law says I need one. I hate this! I want to hit somebody! Hello: I am a 22-year-old college student who needs some advice about treating ADD. Last year I saw a psychiatrist who prescribed me Adderall XR for ADD. Unfortunately, she was extremely pricey and my parents couldn't afford the treatment anymore. I'm trying to finding a less expensive doctor, but I'm concerned about "the switch"; if she/he will agree with my old doctor, because I certainly benefited from the previous treatment. I've never switched docs, so I'm just trying to make the transition smooth. Any thoughts would be appreciated! |
