I don't think that I am not competive but I hate board games too! I always try to win when I am playing basketball or football. But when my brothers, sisters and I would play monopoly I would cheat in a most obvious manner by putting hotels that I had stolen from the bank onto land that I had only one of. The stealing was the fun part for me. My older brother is so totally competitive. He was always the banker so tricking him was the most fun. I really thought of them as BORED games.

i always play both the banker and real estate agent in monopoly.. i'm constantly stealing money from the bank and change the rules when questioned by my dd..
sometimes i feel bad, sometimes!!
ppl use the term 'sore loser' but i think that the term 'bad winner' is more applicable.. especially those who win and keep bragging about it!!
so basically i cheat in order to stop these evil ppl from spreading their ilk

I never used to cheat at things like board games. But if I started to lose then it was a dumb game anyway and why would anyone want to play it? I stopped playing chess as an early boy when my kid sis (3 years younger) beat me with my cousin's help. What a dumb game! Played risk too - until a massive defeat at kirkutsk - really dumb game!

I used to cheat at video games - would search out cheat codes for "God" mode. But now with meds the games don't appeal as much. Not sure why.

I guess I AM competitive. My dear mom though taught me that if you don't win fair it's just not worth the effort. So it's a DUMB game!!! Very dumb - just not worth playing. It's not me - the game ok?!?? LOL!

my dd plays waterpolo and is so competitive that she pulls and kicks and jumps on top of the other players just to get the ball..

We Played School last night, and she won.

You need to play my brother. He is the worst bad winner I have ever met. Real megalomaniac. He lives near Detroit. Luckily our San Antonio Spurs kept him from being a bad winner this year but I can't count on them to do it next year.

I have only beat him one time and that was at his favorite game of Risk. I stoped messing around long enough to beat him off the board had taken over 3/4 of the world and then got very Bored so quit. I thought he was going to come unglued. He recovered when I let him finish playing for me. He was able to beat both of his friends that we had been playing with. So lived another day. It was pretty funny how he couldn't understand how I could possible want to quit when I was so obviously winning.
