my brain fell out | ADHD Information

Wow - that brings back memories!

Well - the only thing that helped my study was to do it where I had no other things I could do as well.  The bathroom was a good spot.  A park (in spring to summer), a mall food court.  A public library.  A friend's place (where they are instructed NOT to let you get away without study!

Find a non-conventional space to do it.  It does help!  I got through university by doing it that way - or staying after and finishing before going home.  That actually works very well as you are already there.  Homework SUCKS - believe me I remember!!

Hey Lost,

I always waited 'til the last minute. Still graduated, tho.

Good luck!

Luv yer topic, btw!

i cant sudy

i have two tests this week.
ive been playing on the computer or playing with my dog all weekend. when i look at my book, an overwhelming wave of fatigue attacks me. its trying to eat me. so the only way to be eaten alive is to not look at my book.

help me smell me tell me to read
my book with too much words
my dog has too much terds
im hungry

I'm not sure how well it works for study myself cause I totally bombed out in the study department but I do love to write and find if it is a beautiful day inspirtation comes easy while sitting outside.

I think Glen has a good idea by thinking outsideof the box. If it is nice weather where you are try finding a park or other outdoor area that is kinda like a breath of fresh air.......... In other words not a noisy or concreted area.

::Dear everyOne::

Miss Frizzle
i AM studying biology right now.  are you watching me through my window? let me go check... okie dokie thats not you. anyways~
i have a poem for yOu
You got me hooked on rhyming to the beat and also to the sound of ugly chikin feet. it aint no joke that i hope i dont choke because i'm pretty broke miss FriZzLe my nizzle fo shizzle.

heres what i been staring at for the past hour.........
-mRNA= methane Recall Nothing Atfer
-tRNA= they Realize Nobodys Around

  here's what i actually been doing/thinking...............

mRNA and Ribosomes were gonna get married but then they found out they're a little bit related as 3rd cousins so now they cant
Do cell or their organelles have a mind of thier own? cuz how do they do all that stuff that they do? do they make lists for everything like me?
and if they dO have thier own brain, then does that mean their brain has adhd too?
when they poop, where does it go? do the lysosomes just eat it up?

Hello Lost Tongue

Try not to think of it as studying?

Look at the book, and say this out loud:

"Woow! This is the most fascinating book I've ever seen!"

"I can't wait to unlock it's mysteries!"

If the book tells a story, try drawing it. Pretend that you were hired to decorate someone's walls with your artistic interpretation of the book.

Even if it's biology!

Pretend someone hired you to paste pictures of mitochondria on their walls.

Instead of reading straight through, read with colored pencils/markers....

Even if you are not artistic, and the content does not sound graphic, draw each paragraph.

You have to, because if you don't, you will not be hired again!

Your dog's food depends on this project.

You must start immediately.

Wow, how profound.  I suddenly feel.. like... so enlightened

And I graduated with a degree in biology.

Every thing boiled down to this:

Green, good. Red, dead.

How ever, I read

new bio book

'n fell over

Red.
