aswer to questions first handed! I am 13 | ADHD Information

Hi,

     I have a daughter who is going to be 13 this April.  She is telling me now she does better on Concerta than Strattera.  I have to agree with her.  The dose she was on was far too high.  It was 54mg of Concertta.  i was thinking of weaning her off Strattera and putting her just on Concerta long acting.  Do you feel you can control at your age any of your anxieties or impulses because you are aware of your condition.  I think it is great you are on the message board.  i will have my daughter write.  She is having a tough time.  Talking to someone the same age with the same problem may help.  can you let me know what you are on?  Thanks alot.  Anita

I have found that i do better on Strattera. Yes i do feel i can control my anxietys and impulses. Maybe when you have her write to me i can tell her some of the techniques that i have used. I hope she does better and that you guys will find the right medicine for her! Hope to hear from her soon!!    FirstHandKid

i've really have a  hard time at school also i was thinking do we need extra help at our jobs somedayi hope this isn't rude but how many mg are you on, i was on 50 with strattera
