What is a bonus daughter??
Sounds like this girl needs some therapy...her life sounds very overwhelming.
Lying like that is not a symptom of ADHD...so medication probably won't help it.
I dont like the word step daughter, that means she is astep away of being family. Bonus daughter means she is an added bonus to our family. thanksI'm not sure if you have guardianship of this child or not, but it sounds like she has more issues going on than just ADHD. I would think, if she keeps lying about you, maybe one day CPS could get involved. I'd be verrrrrrrrry careful! To her parents, I'd recommend more testing.

I have a bonus daughter that was diagnosed with ADHD. Before this diagnoses her mother would call just about every two to three months saying that I was abusing her daughter or my twelve year old daughter was being mean to her. Which both of these are untrue. At the same time she was telling them these lies about us she was telling us stories about her older sister and she is so mean and that her step father hits her all the time and pinches her. Mybonus daughter has since been diagnosed with ADHD and put on Adderall. (i hope I can label the medicine on here.) The last weekend she was here she was telling us how awful things were at home. When she went home she told them that my family and my friends were being mean to her. Which totally untrue,she even begged to stay with my friends to play with their children. Well her mother called complaining and she said that it has to be true because she is on the medicine. Now the medicine has helped her in school to stay attentive and her grades have improved greatly. So my question is: Is this medicine suppose to help with lying and can anyone me to help to stop the lies, from one family to another. Any tips would be great. please understand that a psychiatrist has found all these things untrue . I just thought that i would add that so noone thought we were ignoring harm to the child and i know that none of she says about my home is true. thanks
