Confession - I’m addicted | ADHD Information

What would I do without yall's support.  I am eternally grateful!   Forgive me, I'm just so emotional!!!

So it was considered "safe" by the FDA !

Just like Prozac, Paxil, Effexor, Zoloft, Luvox, Celexa, Lexapro, Viiox, Lipitor, Crestor, ..... shall I keep going ?

I confess I am addicted.   I am a lip balm junkie.  This all began way back in Jr. High School, when a couple of my best girlfriends and I decided to experiment with Lip Balm in flavors.   I became addicted to the smooth, luxurious feeling it gave my lips.  Oh,  had I only known then that it  would become an addiction that I would not be able to live without. I use them several times a day. I hide them everywhere too,  there are a couple in my purse,  some in the bathroom,  in my desk at work, in my truck,  always available when I need a fix.    I can't help it, It's not my fault!   I just can not stand the feel of dry lips and there were no warning labels of the potential danger of addiction. Now, I fear it is too late.

Which doctor prescribed it to you ... without advising you of all the side effects /

Countrygirl, This is awful.  I think the FDA conspired to get you addicted.  And you just may die from it!  You can overdose you know!

OTC are you sure there isn't a lip-balm anonymous you could go to...?

this is likely a common addiction and a self-help group might be nearby with a handy plan.  just remember - don't get sucked in by the call of the rite-aid.  stay away or if need be, ask a friend to go with you and steer clear of the cosmetics aisle at all costs.

on the up-side you could probably sue and make your fortune.  next time you can buy the boat instead of cruisin' on it...

Exactly!!  All of these drugs are just as dangerous as lip balm!  OMG
.

And there is the fact that you could accidently swallow your lip balm tube!  The chances are 1 to 1,000,000 therefore they should ban it! [QUOTE=Davidornado]

Hey, I have a cute butt.

Oh, I know you're only trying to get my mind off my next fix, butt...
OMG, I think it's working!
Any help for a decafe coffee addict?  I thought only the caffeine was addictive, but I dont' use caffeine--I like the flavor and can have five-ten cups of decafe a day? Should I go into rehab?

Hey, I have a cute butt.

Ok, then, where's those rose colored glasses?  You lose them again?  My My!

psm0904,

Don't be so sure you're drinking decafe.  There was a little consumer report on TV recently where people bought about 60 cups of "decafe" coffee from well known places, including Starbucks.

The coffee was tested and ALL of the cups failed. They had too much caffeine in them. Most had levels equal to regular coffee.

Now now, they didn't all fail.  I think something like five out of the sixty failed.  It was something else though.  Some of the cups of "decafe" coffee had more caffeine than some coffee from other shops that were regular cups of coffee! There is something bad in all stuff when you really look at it all.
