Hey everybody!

I hate to bring non-ADHD things up from the basement but I need some help.

I'm entered in a contest for a comedian - a chance for a shot at Canadian TV.

I need votes - LOTS of votes so I figured I'd ask the people I trust the most - YOU.

Okay bepatient - and thanks for checking in!

go to www.cornergas.com/comicgenius.  Then - it has a spot that says "log in or sign up" - it's next to the little gas pump in the left side midway up.  Once you've registered (you have to use your main email not yahoo or msn) then you get sent back an email that you click on to verify registration.  Then you can vote.

You go into the "auditions area".  I'm GlenW there too.

You click on my pic - and there's a set of 5 empty stars next to my pic.  Just click on the far right star - and I get 5 stars!

Down to number 24 spot - lots of new people come in (well new this week) and doing what we plotted to do next week.  Sadly found out this week is IT so no go.  But it's been awesome! 

We'll see what happens.  It's a bouncy bouncy ball!

I've found out how solid I am through this and that's the best of it.  I can now say that with my treatments and meds I've been able to thicken my skin where the nasty hecklers can't faze me!

Glad to have this extended family - it's awesome!

GlenW38680.7950115741When does it end?  I'll get there like 1/2 hour before and start handing out 1 stars.  See, my husband routes all email with some form of my name, spelled or mispelled or whatever on his server to me.  So i can register with 50,000,000,000 names.  Do they ever check things like that??

I don't know for sure - but they might attach a cookie to each registering.  Then it would show that they all came from one PC.  Maybe stick to the ones you've got.  The only legit way is to have different computers or different providers.  Then the cookie would show a difference that doesn't raise red flags.

I appreciate the thought though! Think of it - 50,000,000 votes? LOL!!!

 

Darnit!  So all my votes are gonna get cancelled in the morning?

doubt it - but it could cause trouble if you put more on and they looked at them say just before I got the high vote.  5 - under the radar - more would probably be - hmmmm 1 provider and all these names?? So I think we are ok.  It may flag later but I think everyone seeing me with a good score is good anyway - boosts my "creds" LOL

Well, the presently insomniac GlenW has been working whatever magic he has on the comedic world. 

I've moved up the ladder again to number 8!! Wow!! I'm watching out for new people coming in and - being the attention whore it appears I am I'm instantly knocking their fannies back down with a one-star volley!!

You guys must be up too - or I have a fan club presently unknown LOL.  Others are still voting and I have to assume it's all my friends here!

Thanks cynth.  I'm in the 30s on the contest - it seems a few people have changed their votes after seeing the slam against me.  I am just putting myself in a more shielded mood - not expecting to win as much as I was before.

I am just disappointed in people in general I guess.  I used to be so cynical - and would have expected this but since I've become more optimistic and uplifted it's more of a shock to me. 

But I know where my heart is - it's right here with all of you!

Thanks.  I am going to stick to who and what I know for a while.  That's easier on my frazzled nerves.  This one took something out of me and I didn't like the way it felt.  I still feel I didn't do anything that wrong but understand why they bumped me.  Fairness is important.

 

I think more complained about you, and seen the comments heading south, so rather than fix it, they killed you. no big deal. Momma told me there would be days like these. strange days indeed.

I was surprised at it too.  I think it was my email that did me in though.  But I felt I should be straight to the point and get it over with.  And I'm glad it's over now.

So now I can get back to what is important.  Like you guys.

GlenW38680.7919907407Don't give up.  Has anyone from Corner Gas contacted you?  If not consider them hecklers.  It's sad someone from here would do such a thing, but it's not illegal is it? It is probably the same thing everyone is doing and surely they can figure that out.  In any case, you did the best you could. 

I doubt it was one of us.  If you google GlenW and words like cornergas, etc.  They posted it up as soon as they found it.  Sour grapes yes. 

Corner Gas hasn't contacted me but I have a feeling that they'll be getting a few complaints from anyone if I do make it.  Which seems unlikely at this point.

I'm just upset at myself for building myself up to think I have a hope - that's how I end up disappointed.

But I know nobody decent here (maybe an anti-med person but even doubt that) could do it.

I believe Reality has been kicked out. Now if we can only get ADHDisBogus.  That is usually what happens when someone gets kicked off.  Their name turns to guest.  We can hope!

Hey - I went back to comic genius - and it looks like they are having the last week as a contest after all!

There doesn't seem to be rhyme or reason to it - the old guy who went forward was bottom   I am puzzled and can only think they are trying for teen boys and old folks. 

I'm going to clean up my jokes, get a new pic taken and try again I think.  I'll enter sometime around tuesday I think if I'm ready and we'll try and get it as good as I can get it.

Allright!!!  Aye, aye sir. apparently both curus and reality have been removed.  I checked on reality in a search but not curus.  They will be back - as bogus said their work is never done as new people are here all the time.  They won't stop so neither can we. Sometimes it's hard to figure what runs some people.  It's good the admin did something.  I had given up hope they were paying attention.  But you're probably right.   They think they have a mission of some kind.   Wow!

By the way, you are a very intelligent person with a lot of insight.

Wow crew - this is so amazing!!

I was at #8 when I left for work - still hanging by my toenails at #10!!

All I need to do to get seen is stay in this area for the next 24 plus hours.  Tomorrow night at I think midnight EST they close the polls and the top 10 get considered for the finals.  Then next week they will pick some of them that didn't get the cut for the wildcard round.

No matter what - this is terrific!! Without your help I'd have floundered near the bottom.

Best part - the evil dasboot is totally green with envy! One post he put on another ladies' one is - "Prediction - Glen W. Will make it to the top 10 - only to be next to you watching the winners walk by".  LOL!!!
