Woohoo ADD and proud!! Aint it great?
I had a pretty successful thanksgiving also.. I won't say that I was as organized and on time as you were, but it was the best one I have ever had.. and it was also my first holiday meal planning on medication. umm well, the dishes are piled in the sink.. think I'll hit those in the morning.
Although, umm Glen, I do kinda like the tarp idea
It just floors me how much medication can help.. shoot, and I was thinking it wasnt working that much anymore.

I talked with my SIL last night and told her. She seemed unimpressed like I thought she would be. That's okay. I know that it was a huge accomplishment. I also know that a year ago it wouldn't have turned out that way.
I know what you mean about how you don't think the meds are working anymore and you turn around and do something so 'normal'.
Little victories, you gotta celebrate every one of them.
thats awseome!!
as far as SIL & others who w/ that mindset, f-her they have no clue!
congrats!
hell, when things are on time doesnt it feel like your on top of the world?
CONGRATS!
Good for you proud!!
Yes we all here know that was a feat!
Dishes suck - just cover it with a tarp and buy new ones.
BM - LOL have to admit I thought of definition number one (or two I guess LOL) came to mind. Before meds... good one!
Proud of you !!!
I fixed Thanksgiving Dinner at my house and planned to eat by 11:30 (we had to be somewhere at 1:00). Not only did I preprepare some dishes last night but got everything cooked, table set, and ready to eat at 11:20. Dinner picked up, put away, dishes in the dishwasher, family walking out the door by 12:20.
To a person who isn't familiar with or understands ADD this would seem like no big deal at all. I'm sure y'all do. A year ago, BM (before medicine) I couldn't have done this. Dinner would have been an hour late, at least. And 6 hours later dishes still not done. I'm so proud of myself. I had to share.
