My Idea of HELL!!!! | ADHD Information

My personal Hell would be folding and putting away an eternal pile of laundry.

I would do any chore, scrub toilets, wash the car, over folding and putting away the laundry.  I loathe laundry.   Thanks to my meds it's getting easier to tackle though.

Sorry about this rant but I am about to stab my eyes out with a pair of scissors!

I Hate Sewing!!!

I've been trying to tye a **** knot in a **** shirt that I had to sew a button on for it seems like **** eternity and I can't get it!!!!ARGH!

Do any of you find tedious tasks such as this frazzle you to no end?

My idea of Hell would be...

Sewing,

hanging up clothes,

putting pillow cases on pillows,

doing puzzles,

What about you guys!!

Thanks for the vent---

My idea of Hell would be having to stay in the same place, with the same people, with the same job!  I cannot stand being stagnet, I find myself trying so hard to be somewhere else, someone else, etc, etc.  Having to stay off these boards.
I have sewn entire pieces of clothing by hand and enjoyed it.

From what i understand @ sewing [and that would be little to none] i think using a needle might be much easier, just a thought, take it for what it's worth. . .
Hell: anything that someone tells me to do when I don't want to.  Double hell:  anything that someone tells me to do when I don't want to according to a set procedure.  Triple hell:  anything that someone tells me to do when I don't want to according to a set procedure when the procedure is stupid.

I can enjoy things that are detailed and minute as long as they are voluntary.  But the moment "should" or "must" gets involved, I will procrastinate and rebel -- even if the "should" or "must" comes from within.

I totally agree with you !!!!!!!!!!!  That is MY hell, too.....

sounds like our kitten, David

....only it sucks, bites, then hangs on whilst kicking!

Psychgirl- almost anything can tick off an ADHD'er.

We are supposed to be aware and in control of our situations, and when we're not...........KaBooooom!

(which is a lot- as you well stated)

What's up with Mr D? You sound a little negative today, or what ever it is over there
We call it a big negative.
The pole of positive.
bADD mood.
Eject! Eject! Eject!
Reflection of rejection.
Thought it only happen in movies,
or whatever it is you call it over there.
Here, we call it life. It sucks. Then it kicks you.

LOVE puzzles.

Hate DISHES (dishwasher is broken  ) and folding laundry. Washing laundry is okay-- just can't seal the deal with the folding and putting away.

I dont mind doing the washing, its doing the dishes that I  without a doubt HATE the most. And putting quilt covers on.

Yeh quiltcovers, I literally have to get inside them in order to get them on straight. v FRUSTRATING.

Also, puzzles. How boring!

Life.
Living.
Being alive.
Then it kicks you
A maid and cook would be my personal heaven!!!! Hell: anything that someone tells me to do when I don't want to.  Double hell:  anything that someone tells me to do when I don't want to according to a set procedure.  Triple hell:  anything that someone tells me to do when I don't want to according to a set procedure when the procedure is stupid.

I hate having to pay bill, then not paying them and getting that awful reminder, then demand for payment all written in threatening big red lettering.

That's what I call hell. So why do I keep doing it when I have the money to pay them

Maybe I'm just a tight arse that doesnt want to part with my hard earned money?

this is me after being told what to do.....

ROTFL!  (But only because I want to.)

Doing dishes, and that includes loading a ton of the things into the dishwasher because no one else in the house thinks they can put their own in! I don't like folding laundry, but I do enjoy sewing. I don't like using a machine though. I have sewn entire pieces of clothing by hand and enjoyed it.

Ah- well I got my husband to tie the knot- went to work and it broke again!

Now I have to sift through piles of laundry to find another shirt because I have to go back to work tonight!

NO REST FOR THE WICKED!

When buttons fall off, I throw it out...I think my personal hell would be an eternity at Wal Mart, with no exits and everyone riding around on one of those obnoxious electric carts...
