OMG!! The left side of my brain is numb!! I never paid any attention to it. Until the wristbands were mentioned in the posts, I never even looked at it.
Sometimes I don't notice things untill they are on the verge of disaster. It's not a defecit in attention, it's that we have an attention inconsistancy.
Like today I had an appointment at noon. I thought about it when I was in class at around 10am, but after class I started woring on 2 big project that are due Monday. Well of course I zoned in, non stop for hours (you know ,hyperfocusing; can be really good for us, or really bad. Oh, and I fogot about going to my appointment.
Or, in your case, the wrong side?

I don't mind the ads - after all they have to keep this thing running and traffic and bandwidth like they get cost a pretty penny. And - since they aren't ADHD related (i.e. services tailored to us like meds or books) then the boguses of our universe can't say they work for "The Man".
So it's a small price to pay I believe.

Hate ads too, but I'm thankful I don't have to pay to use this site. Kinda' like radio.......love the music-love that it's free, but still dislike ads.

They are new. At one time there were google ads there but now it's yahoo ads. I don't see very many actually related to AD/HD though.Nado,

I hate to break it to you but those ads have been there every time I have been here, from day one. The order changes possibly, I work very hard at ignorig them so I can't be sure. How could anyone miss something so annoying?

I say there was not any ads till shortly after the wrist band ad. Then they
tried them on the left side then they tried them on the bottom in-between
the post reply, and now they have them on the left side.
I can just imagine....."Lets keep changing the placements of the ads so
the ADHDers stay disstracted by them"

That is one of the benefits of ADHD - I MISS THINGS.
Sometimes those things really bother others but I don't even SEE them.

I think it is easy for us to all ignore everything on this board because of ADHD.
But, SHHHHhhhhhhhhh don't tell anyone in the admin, or the advertisers.
They will quit advertising here if they know we all don't see the ads!! Then we will have to pay for the board.
It may mean the right side of our brain is more active or 'in control' of our perception of sensory integration. Strange thought,,, what if we were supposed to be left handed , and 'taught' to be right handed? Could this cause the crappy handwriting, daydreaming, scattered thought pattern because both sides of the brain are fighting for control?
