HEY! Do any of you HAVE to stop and smell the roses?The prettier a thing is, the more I have the urge.
It controls me.
I stop on highways.
Nope, no sniffing issues.
Sometimes, though, in the past, I've had the urge to touch nice or interesting looking fabrics. Usually, the fabrics were on men that I was at least acquainted with. I'd say, "Nice shirt!" and rub, rub, rub.
I've also set off a few alarms in museums touching stuff I'm not supposed to.
OMG!...You just reminded me that I can smell pesticides after they've been applied.Some smell delicious, some horrendous.
I know cotton.
I live in cotton country.

Only place they were picking cotton a month ago.

I'm in Middle Tennessee ......Hillbilly Central , USA .......Murfreesboro, to be exact ...The geographical Middle of the State is in our city, so I mean LITERALLY THE middle ....LOL....I was in an '05 Nissan Pathfinder, dark blue, the sunroof open, hair blowin'..(it's was still warm then)..Loud music, but not (OBNOXIOUSLY loud)....mm.no I wasn't drivin'.....mmm on HWY 99 and Kimbro (no kidding) Road ....headed South (?) on Kimbro Road ....if you go to MapQuest you can see the exact spot I am talking about !!! HAHAHAHAHA ...wish they had an interactive global site so you could put in Long/Latit Coordinates and SEE that EXACT spot !!! Would that not be SOOO awesome? !!!!!

I made my DH stop on the side of a back road the other day..well. prob a month ago by now...There are acres and acres of Cotton fields ..and they had just picked and "bricked it" ..there was cotton buds everywhere...I had never touched real cotton (before being processed), and the way they are building houses around here, they will probably be gone before too long...so, anyway , I made him stop so I could get out and get me a couple of handfulls.....it is so SOFT !!!! and smells so clean....
I still have to SMELL everything ...I know, weird...I smell EVERYTHING ...unless, you know, it's something gross, or whatever, lol ....clean clothes, flowers, candles, candles, candles, food , spices, makeup...some makeup stinks !! I'm a perfume junkie, body-wash-aholic, lol, Lotion-a -holic....anything creamy, sweet , cinnamony , vanilla- sweet , sugary, lemony CLEAN smelling ...I hate perfumes that are "heavy" or too tart, or have that sickly sweet smell ...OK enough ........
I'd rather smell coffee.

We figured out later the acid was contaminated with the missing napalm.
From then on we had to lace it with captured Russian coffeelenko.
