true diagnose

Nancy,

Welcome!  I second what Lillian posted.  In addition to a neuropsychologist, sometimes an evaluation by a good child psychiatrist is helpful if you suspect anxiety, depression, mood disorder, etc.  Pediatricians are great first-line resources on many childhood illnesses, but they quite frankly are not qualified to diagnose complicated neurological disorders like ADHD.  Good luck!

How do you get a true diagnose for addhd and odd my sons dr diagnosed him by a paper that his teacher and I filled out.

Questionnaires are subjective, and I do not trust them, at all.  I believe that the best way to get a good diagnosis is to take your child to a neuropsychologist, who will spend hours testing and observing your child.  Good luck and welcome to the board!
